I’ve been behind a camera for just over six years. While I dabbled in a few video projects when I was younger, I never considered myself the creative type—I was always more drawn to the technical side of content creation.
In early 2017, after a difficult breakup, I picked up a camera as a way to keep my mind occupied. I spent hours wandering my Midwest college campus, capturing anything that caught my eye. I was hooked. From there, I devoured countless YouTube tutorials and equipment reviews, eager to learn more. Landscape photography pulled me in—it didn’t require social interaction, and I had just started getting into hiking and camping.
What began as a simple distraction has since grown into something far greater than I ever imagined.
