I’ve been behind a camera for just over 6 years. Even though I worked on a handful of video projects when I was young, I never considered myself the creative type. I was always more drawn to the technical aspect of content creation.

I picked up a camera in early 2017 after a tumultuous breakup. It was a way to keep my mind busy. I would spend hours walking around my Midwest college campus capturing anything that I thought was interesting. I was hooked. From there I consumed hours and hours of YouTube tutorials and equipment reviews. Landscape photography drew me in because it didn’t require me to be social and I had just started getting into hiking and camping.

What started as mere distraction has grown into something I couldn’t have imagined.
